He also did my favorite “No Smoking” ad for a movie theater, which as far as I know only shows at The Charles, the art house theater in downtown Baltimore. I once sat behind Waters at a screening of Barbara Stanwyck’s sexy, salacious pre-Code movie Baby Face (1933), which seemed just indecent enough to be up his alley.
